Our heritage is based in so many and varied aspects that it would be incomplete to assure that we recover our heritage only by restoring buildings.

Galicia is a wealthy country, it posses an out of question architectural richness, but… It is that all?.

Retrieving patrimony, a legacy in such an endearing place, lost in the he art of the Ourense´s Sacred Riviera, as San Paio Monastery, make us conceived it as a whole, date us back to its origins and adapt them to our time’s demands.

This building was not a sterile construction, it w as not raise whit the only intention of recreate, Monastery was built to be lived, to create community.

The entire region has a past based on field and its activity was a master piece that, as San Paio´s stones, is nowadays dying between left and exploitation consequences of our time and system.

We have the object to create community, and whit it to retrieve the entire patrimony that was born out of our peasant land, for that reason, we will take to San Paio de Abeleda a project in which producers will be recognized, fairly and without intermediates for their job, creating productive chains formed by cooperatives that will be commercialized in our own Tapería-Store to create brand, where their effort obtains, whit a fair trading, the adequate remuneration.

Retrieving heritage also means to habilitate a space to open new horizons for culture and learning, looking forward to offer to vary public language, music, painting, agriculture and breeder manufacturing courses, a place in where everyone that feel the urge to give back nature potential and strength could find a new way of living field.

We offer viable and tangible answers, a place where everyone that wants to cooperate, retrieving artistic, cultural, and economcs’ patrimony of a culture that was born in field, find in San Paio´s Monastery A PLACE WITH FUTURE
